This is my Junior Thesis at University of the Arts. I completed this in the Fall of 2008 and had one semester to do so. I had a rough time with this video because I started it in Flash but didn’t know enough about Flash so I ended up animating it in After Effects, of which I had more knowledge.
The story is based on two of my cousins, of the same names. Basically, one day, I was watching them playing around, sharing this bag of chips. The conversation that ensued was so funny, I knew that I wanted to make an animation of it. Especially what happens in the end.
I plan on doing a reboot of this film, completely re-doing the animation in Flash and for the game sequences, using what skills I learned in 3D classes during my Senior year. Hopefully, I will get around to it. As for now, please enjoy Alex and Johnny v.1 =]
